ABOUT PAINPANG.COM

We are a publication of new literature (plays, experimental narratives, illustrated narratives, graphic novels, art books) intent on producing motion pictures designed to be highly integrated with these printed works. This effort is specifically being made in anticipation of that day when the book and printed page can simultaneously, inexpensively and enjoyably present sound and motion pictures.

Summing Up

1. Painpang.com's book-sound-motion picture hybrids aim to promote the development of interactivity between the printed page, sound and motion pictures that stimulates productive intellectual activity.

2. All works published and produced by Painpang.com study & experiment on the conventions that separate works of fiction from works of nonfiction. The aim of this particular focus is to explore ways of uncovering, confronting and presenting compelling truths unique to art's emphasis on imagination, while also exposing how accepted wisdom can easily degenerate into the accepted lies and propaganda of failed imaginations... and the uninspired truths of the unchallenged and unchallenging.

3. BRIEF HISTORY: Painpang.com was founded in 2004 by Sisters Nella and Nelle Gnaw.

E=MC Sister Philosophy V duh bomb

Materialists think it is all a matter of physical matter, including spirit and energy. Spiritualists think it is all a matter of Spirit, including matter and energy. Our best guess? ... Nothing and Everything matters.

"The soul is a phoney hooked on phonics — a world of networking no bodies desperately wanting to be some body."

Sisters Nelle Gnaw and Nella Gnaw attended the University of Southern California's (U.S.C.) Film School; studied acting & directing in L.A.; painted; hung out with other artists and punk rock musicians; moved to Alaska; moved to New York City to do more art, hang out with artists and save the world; then moved to Buffalo, N.Y., to try and save themselves.
